Hullo! I heard of your problem from Kim and angel. I went through something similar too. I deferred my studies for a year this Feb, much to the disapproval of many people, wasting lots of time and money, and came back to Singapore. Let me relate to you my experience and afterthought.
It took me a very distraught 2 weeks to decide that I needed to take a break from studies in Sydney after a 9-month in Sydney. I won't say I understand how you feel, but I can roughly guess the frustration and confusion you are going through. Thing is, you can never be 100% sure. I tried to justify myself, reason with the seemingly illogical, irrational decision. The truth is till this day, I still cannot quite put it in definite words. I don't think I ever will, so don't worry about that. It doesnt matter that much.
What really matter is what you do after. So do take your own advice, quiet your mind, listen to what you have to say. Then follow that voice. It will work out, it will have to anyway.
Graduated from Singapore Lasalle College Of The Arts with a Bachelor Honours degree majoring in Music Composition and Media Composing. He has been working in Singapore's notable largest media company, 'MediaCorp Broadcast TV Station' for more than a year experience as a Sound Designer and Audio Engineer.
Besides the current job, he does freelancing for more than 5 years, performing as a cellist and as a soundtrack composer / sound designer with one of the game developer in Malaysia (Johor Bahru), 'Common Extract' for more than two years experience.
